The Flower of Life is a geometric pattern inscribed on many of the world's great Pyramids, Temples and Cathedrals dating back over 6000 years.  The more religious among the ancient civilizations meditated upon the shape of the Flower of Life for the purpose of manifesting their most sacred desires. It is widely believed that the evolution of the universe is symbolically represented by the Flower of Life. 

On the first day there was a sphere, which represented the "Word."  Upon each successive day, the sphere rotated upon itself, leading to the formation of a six petal flower.  As described, the Flower of Life reflects the Genesis of Creation.  From this three dimensional shape, all other sacred patterns may be found, including the Tree of Life, Leonardo Da Vinci's Pentacle and Plato's 5 Platonic Solids.  Pythagoras described the Flower-born solids as elements of creation, representing fire, earth, air, water and ether, the Prana or Life Force energy.
